What, where, and why.

Vertical gardens

Vertical gardens use natural processes of plants to solve multiple issues for cities and indoor environments. Plants inhibit many polluting substances from the air and increase the area of surfaces producing CO2, decrease temperature around them, establish optimal humidity through transpiration, suppress excess rain effects, restrain dust, and contribute to biodiversity development. Biodiversity is the greatest treasure of our planet guaranteeing balance for plant life. It is very important to protect and conserve it because it is our source of food, drugs, and raw materials. Biodiversity is a guarantee of human health and well-being. Its protection is one of our main goals.

“Vertical gardening is an innovative, effortless, and highly productive growing system that supports a wide variety of plants in both small and large garden spaces.” – Derek Fell, author Vertical Gardening

Plants provide oxygen and humidity and infiltrate volatile organic polluting compounds such as benzene and formaldehyde improving the quality of indoor air. Outside, plants improve sound acoustics, thermal insulation, and decrease power consumption.

Benefits for people

Plants improve health, comfort, concentration, and productivity at workplaces. They enable us to be in contact with living creatures strengthening our biophysical needs, inspire us, and make us happy. Researches prove that plants in hospitals help reduce the duration of patients stay.

Plants improve the quality of human life. Besides, companies with a focus on vertical gardens get significant return on their investments due to tax breaks, decreased energy consumption, and marketing.
